Wasting no time at all in 2022, Sophisticated Dingo are well and truly road worn this year. The fun-loving Melbourne Garage Punk duo kicked off the year with a hot lap of Aus in support of coastal punks Beddy Rays, before embarking on their own headline tour run to launch single ‘Feeding Time’.
The pair followed this up with single ‘Morning View’ that received critical praise and an immediate add to Triple J rotation upon release in July. The song provides a darker look at the worth in holding your opinions close to your chest and has fast become a new fan favourite with sing-alongs galore on display at their hometown headline show in August at Howler, Melbourne.
Armed with another new release in ‘The Job I Took’ a triumphant look at the challenge of finding your own direction rather than living solely to support others, there are no signs these know where the breaks are as they certainly aren’t slowing down for the remainder of 2022 and beyond.
