We’re absolutely frothing to announce that WA-grown pro-surfers Jacob Willcox and Bronte Macaulay will become part-owners in the business!
These additions come a year on from the inception of the Gage surf team, which includes WA-grown pro-surfer and Gage Roads part-owner, Jack “Robbo” Robinson; and free surfers Brenden “Margo” Margieson, McKenzie “Mac” Bowden and Ellie “El” Brooks.
Hailing from the powerful waves of Margaret River, 26-year-old Jacob Willcox is a force to be reckoned with in the world of professional surfing. With an illustrious career already under his belt, landing third in the World Surfing League (WSL) 2023 Challenger Series, he has recently earned his spot on the prestigious Championship Tour for 2024.
“I went and had a surf (and a few Single Fins) with the crew up north last year when they were shooting the surf film. I knew then I wanted to get on board for sure. Good people, good surf, good beer, good times” says Willcox.
Fellow South West raised Bronte Macaulay is also set for a big year. After taking out first in the Ballito Pro of the WSL 2023 Challenger Series, Macaulay’s got the Championship Tour in close sight and with her optimistic outlook always intact, plans on making the most of every moment.
“I’m really excited to be getting on board with a brand that really resonates so much with me – WA-born, passionate about surf, marching to the beat of its own drum!” says Macaulay.
Welcome on board Jacob and Bronte! Yewww!!!
