Even though we brewed this Australian Strong Ale as a limited release about 3 years ago, we’re still being asked when we’ll do it again. Unfortunately for those still missing The Convict, the answer is always the same: Never (probably). So if you can’t wait for never – and know your way around a home brew kit – give one of these recipes a crack.


For those not familiar with the beer, the finished product is big in every way: Big floral and spice aromas from the Aussie hops, lots of caramel malt vibes, and huge (but balanced) bitterness. Enjoy.
